Your privacy matters deeply to us. MyPeriodApp helps you understand and manage your menstrual cycle and fertility. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

• Account: your email address and an optional first name.
• Cycle & health data you enter: period start dates, cycle and period length, and optional daily logs (flow, mood, symptoms, notes).
• Subscription status: handled by RevenueCat and the Apple App Store / Google Play. We never see or store your card details.

How we use your information

• To calculate your cycle predictions, fertile window ("Fertdays"), and "Red-day" alerts.
• To show your history, insights, and (with your permission) on-device reminders.
• To provide and manage your subscription.

Sensitive data

Your reproductive and health data is used only to power features inside the app. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for advertising.

Sharing

We share data only with service providers that make the app work: our secure database hosting and RevenueCat (for subscriptions). Any "Share" feature in the app is triggered by you and sends only what you choose to share.

Analytics

We use PostHog to understand how features are used (for example, app opens, logging a cycle, reading a Learn article, or tapping upgrade) so we can improve the app. Analytics is privacy-first: we send only these anonymous usage events tied to a random app identifier. We do not send your email, name, cycle dates, symptoms, notes, or any other health data to analytics, and we do not use analytics for advertising. We do not collect an advertising ID or track you across other apps.

Data retention & deletion

You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time from Profile → Delete account. This removes your account, cycles, and logs from our systems.

Young users

MyPeriodApp is designed to support young people's health education. If you are under the age of digital consent in your country, please use the app with the guidance of a parent or trusted adult.

Your choices

You can edit or delete your logs anytime, turn reminders on/off, and delete your account. Notifications and biometric lock are optional and controlled by you.
